Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound lb ground beef 80% lean for juicy patties
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese cut into fun shapes or strips
  • 1 cup black olives sliced for eyes and other features
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes cut into small pieces or slices for mouths and details
  • 4 whole burger buns toasted lightly for crunch
  • 1 small red bell pepper for tongue or decoration

Method
 

  1. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat until hot, and lightly oil the grates.
  2. Divide the ground beef into four equal portions, then gently shape each into a thick, round patty. Season both sides with salt and pepper for flavor.
  3. Place the patties onto the hot grill, listening for a satisfying sizzle, and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side until nicely browned and cooked through.
  4. While the burgers cook, lightly toast the burger buns on the grill until golden and crispy, about 1-2 minutes per side.
  5. Remove the cooked patties and buns from the grill. Stack each patty on a toasted bun bottom, then top with a slice of cheese so it melts slightly from the heat.
  6. Use sliced olives to create spooky eyes by placing two on each burger, and add small pieces of cherry tomato or red bell pepper for mouths and other monster features.
  7. Finish each monster with the top bun, pressing lightly to secure the decorations. Optionally, add more pepper or veggie details for extra creepiness.
  8. Serve the Monster Burgers immediately, with additional toppings or sides if desired. Enjoy the playful, spooky feast!
