- Add the blueberries, ice cubes, citrus juice, and salt into your blender.
- Secure the lid and start blending on low speed, gradually increasing to high, until the mixture looks vibrant and is starting to clump around the blades.
- Blend for about 30-45 seconds, or until the slushie is smooth, icy, and has a slightly thick, spoonable texture.
- Stop the blender and taste the slushie. Add honey or agave syrup if you'd like it sweeter, then pulse a few times to incorporate.
- Pour the slushie into chilled glasses, watching the bright purple color swirl around as you serve.
- Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint or a slice of lime if desired, then serve immediately for the best icy texture.
Notes
